Swag-Fest 8! Affordables, and Straps!!

Post by conjurer » January 17th 2018, 4:15pm

And, we're back! Welcome to the triumphant return of the Swag-Fest auctions. Here are the rules: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=39797

There will be one change; we will be giving 50% to St. Judes, and 50% will be directly donated to the forum to help offset the recent upgrades so Alain doesn't have to eat ramen for the next six months.

Let's get fucking started, shall we?

Invicta Pro-Diver:

(Sorry about the quality of some of these pics--terrible weather here today.) So, this isn't just a Pro-Diver, this is a goddamn ceramic Pro-Diver. 44mm across, 46mm with crown, 53mm lug to lug, 12.4mm thick, so it's basically a ladies model. Just joking--this is actually a nicely made, attractive watch. Swiss quartz movement (it says it right on the dial) that actually hits the markers, light (for its size), great bezel action, minor wear on a couple of the bracelet links. Another link is included, so it'll probably fit up to a seven inch wrist. Very cheesey cheese box and papers included.

Jacques Lemans Quartz Dress Watch:

A nice, dressy piece, this one. Swiss made, sapphire crystal, elegant silver pressed dial. New battery, according to the donor, with all links in place to fit up to an 8 inch wrist. 43mm across, 46mm with crown, 49.5mm lug to lug, 10.3mm thick. In very fine condition, comes with box and papers.

Swiss Military Sealander Quartz:

This watch is just fucking cool--pardon my French. The dial's cool, the green 60 click bezel's cool, the seconds subdial is cool. 44mm across, 47mm with crown, 49mm lug to lug, 14mm thick. Great condition, with pretty soft rubber strap. Comes with box.

Bag O' Straps:

Eleven in all, three of them fabric (nylon?), three in leather, four are NATOs, one is rubber. Most never worn, according to the donor. They are all either 20mm or 22mm.

Right, then. This auction will run until Saturday night, 20 January, ending precisely at 8:00PM Pacific time.

Happy bidding!

If someone will outbid me on the Invicta, I will still donate the $25.

I really don’t need another watch I won’t wear as have a box full of G-Shocks won already.
