I never got that Seiko repaired, after buying another, nicer one from smells-like-a-melody.
So I put it up in ebay, and it went to 142 USD (or rather the equivalent in EUR). Thanks to whoever donated it - I will make sure to send another donation as soon as I get the money. Didn't mean to earn money on this.
Thought these 6309 might have been built by the millions, they are seemingly increasingly afterthought - probably also because people born in the 80ies are looking for "anniversary watches".
