What a fucking joke.
If you had concerns about the legitimacy of Shinola watches in the past, they now left no doubt they are just another non-serious wartch company in the model of Granny Lalo's Invicta.
And if your movement is that uninspiring/bland/plain looking------- put it under a solid caseback for god sake and try to salvage any resemblance of seriousness.

Leave it to "Gear Patrol" to write yet another low IQ watch review for the WiT crowd.
I should have known better than to click the link but will honestly attempt to ignore their blogs going forward.

Seems pretty uninspired
Meritocracy: the privilege, wealth and advancement of those who chose their parents wisely.
Capitalism: a cult that promised to do good for the worst reasons.
Nationalism: a profound longing to go back to a past that never existed.

Nice enough looking - agree with CG - certainly could have done a lot more with the movement than just the Geneva striped main plate under glass. Boxed crystal and titanium case and bracelet are nice touches. 4 G's? Ridiculous.

You all bitching about the The Mooncraft Monster Chrono? I reckon it looks pretty good. Nice Ti case and bracelet is a win. Dark Blue and Ti always looks hot, same for a box-domed sapphire. I do like a knurled crown, and the spear logo is a sweet detail :-)

I really like that it's assembled in Detroit.

Cool handset.

Taking the rotor off a 7750 and calling it mechanical is a bit lame but your AUD7k is only going to go so far with a watch assembled in USA from Swiss parts. Yeah, the price is nuts but most watch retail prices still are stupid. I don't see too many Swiss/USA Ti mechanical chronos selling for much less.

All in all, I like it!

Our PM was gifted a Shinola Runwell by President Biden and he liked it so much that he bought it when he declared it. Normally our MP's have to declare an item and it is usually is put on display in their offices as tokens of affection from a foreign government, but Anthony Albanese decided to keep it and paid the difference between acceptable gift allowances and the price, including GST which was around 400 AUD.
