Times does still have the non-James Brand collaboration version for only $549

silicone strap instead of titanium bracelet. not sure what the movement is.

Nice! I'm not really into bracelets on most watches but it really works on the James Brand version. Maybe they'll release a regular production version.

The expensive one has a Miyota 9000 series that is a true GMT with movable hour hand. The cheaper one has a Seiko NH34 iirc that has a movable GMT hand

Really? That's so weird! The 90xx is so much better and readily available, just whack it in.

$550 is still too fucking much (although the cheaper one looks better.) I mean, it's still a fucking Timex. They used to sell this shit in drugstores for twenty bucks, for fuck's sakes.

Pretty sure they weren't selling titanium automatic GMTs for $20 🙄 They're expensive, but less of a rip off than pretty much everything else with a mechanical movement out there.
