I quite like that, I quite like beiges and fawns. It would go with a lot of my clothes. Camo NATO is awful though.

Hahaha, yeah, not sure if I'm "fashion forward" (not that there's anything wrong with that), if my office and smart casual attire is of a style that would work with a beige watch!

The camo NATO is the best thing about it, you crazy bogan!

And why again would the Army need a diver? Just asking. The watch itself is actually ok.

Some combat engineers and some in special forces get dive qualified.

It's not really a dive watch as it has a mission-timer bezel. The orange hands would become low-contrast underwater...so not ideal either.

Also, it's Doxa...so multiple reasons to give it a miss IMO

Let's not forget how Alain felt about Doxa. Alain was a true pal, and reminded me of the old guys I grew up with in Chicago. If they were your pal, you had a pal for life, and they would happily have laughed their last few breaths in a bar fight, backing you up as a biker stabbed them to death with a broken beer bottle. But, if you did him wrong, you'd best use one of those mirrors on a broomstick to check the undercarriage of your car before setting off to work in the morning. For the rest of your life.

And Alain didn't care for Doxa. Not a bit.

That Seiko is a reputable watchmaker, Doxa isn't, and orange is not the best colour for diving?

The SKX007 was cool, Doxa is not cool. Orange disappears after a few feet underwater. I learned all this and more from the collective genius of Watchlords.
