That's pretty cool. I imagine it's stupidly expensive though.

Sixty five hundred US. That's a lot of money for an Oris.

To be fair to Oris, there's a lot more going on in that watch than a steel three-hander.

The movement is nothing to write home about, the altimeter, a mechanical function of its crown, the carbon fiber case is a nice touch but not a $6500 touch. Meh.

Yeah but there's several watches that have no altimeter, steel case instead of carbon fibre, and still cost more. So while the Oris is too expensive, it's not as much of a rip-off as some.

Oris has been off my list and radar since I bought a new Aquis some years back with a funky clasp. When I contacted Oris customer service, their response was, in essence, too bad.
Like most brands, Oris doesn't hold value and is a pretender.
This particular piece is fugly, over-priced and sucks dick - like a Doxa.
