We liked the Galvin Alku a lot: it was a neat dress watch with a couple of quirky touches that made it stand out from the crowd. Galvin is back in 2022 with a new design: The Loimu

The presentation of the Galvin Loimu is spartan but satisfactory, with a soft-touch cardboard flip-open box within a thick card outer box. You get a warranty card and cleaning cloth in the package but no other gimmicks to distract from the main event.

I like the very much.

That's not bad. Cool crown and the 9015 is a good movement. Seems reasonable value to me.

Good name for a rugby player.

Like the guillochè patterned dial - 9015 - you could do a lot worse for 5 bills.

Not bad for the money. The green dial is too dark; those hands would need to be brighter, IMHO.

The peach is interesting; in between dive watch orange and salmon.
