Fred Amos - Sad News

Post by MAX » January 26th 2022, 12:02pm

Fred Bernhardt Amos of High Point passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022.

Good guy and a great guy to deal with and great watches. Never met him in person but talked with him on the phone.

A few of his pieces were among my first watches when I started collecting.

Hope the company keeps going, pretty sure it will.

I got a Globemaster second hand that suffered from a stuck rotor, which made the watch a lot less than automatic, I contacted Fred, sent in the watch, which he repaired for no cost, even though there was no warranty attached.

RIP for one of the good guys. They are pretty thin on the ground, and now, a little thinner.

That's sad news.

Great watches at very fair prices, and a stellar reputation for really caring about customer satisfaction.
