In theory, many Lords, can do whatever the hell they damn well please… buuuut, reality proves it hard to justify nearly any amount to an non-enthusiast spouse.

I have found it easier to execute frivolous watch purchases without hassle in the wake of a ‘significant event’ - like a vacation.

Then again, that’s probably a biased tilt - I’m heading to Zihuatanejo in two weeks…
Oversteer scares passengers, understeer scares drivers...

I'm pretty settled with what I've got - no burning desire for anything. I have more than I can give much wear time but want to hang on to for sentimental reasons- gifts, inherited, or watches I was in the right place at the right time to buy, saved for, and sew fourth. If I was going to buy anything, I think I'd buy the Black Bay Chrono - rumor is something new is in the works that will use the 5813 so I'll see what they do - the Tudor - Breitling collaboration running the show may prove hard to resist.
