And then my daughter went to one of my watch boxes and came out with this

And the comment of
what the fuck do you need another blue dial watch for? You barely ever wear this one!
I thought she understood how things work around here.

No comparison, while the Hammy is nice another vote for the Longines.

The Longines is nice; indeed, this is what Longines does best, the conservative dress watch. This is not to say that the Hydroconquest line is somehow wrong--I bought one for Mrs. C, and it's also a very fine watch. But I myself would never buy one. It's somehow just wrong for Longines to make a dive watch.

But that blue Longines is sure the tits!!
I find tv watches to be like the guys who raise their truck you need a fricken ladder to get in. It’s a attempt to look cool... that’s all.

Ha, that’s great. Yeah, but still get the Longines.

Bought a Longines Hydroconquest auto earlier this year - or late last year - when I wound up in Manhattan for three weeks without a watch.
It's very nicely made, keeps excellent time and is comfortable on the wrist.
I'd recommend the brand, which is now sporting its own boutiques ala Rolex, Omega and, of course, Invicta.

I have handled the Longines Master Collection models with the blue dial, and they’re stunning. Save perhaps the MSRP.
