Pandemic SOTC, August 2020

Post by biglove » August 8th 2020, 7:00pm

If my numbers are correct, I have purchased 21 watches since March, 2020. These below are my current keepers. Have two more inbound.

Have a couple set aside for our next charity auction. Just sent a Promaster Tough, bought here and switched to a Brady Sailcloth with red stitching, to my youngest daughter’s S.O.

Have another dozen waiting to be sold.

Fun stuff. That dressy model Citizen in blue seems to truly punch way above its weight class. Enjoyed this immensely.
WatchGeeks will go down in watch forum history as the worst watch related site that existed. Trolls, threats, bannings, and owners and sponsors talking out of their collective asses to fleece people out of hard earned money. - Koimaster

You are on quite a roll! Nice collection, digging that Nodus.

Thanks, guys. I continue to really enjoy the hobby.

I actually have a custom, lightly textured shark skin strap with blue stitching being made for the Citizen dress watch. Will be this but with the blue stitching.

Thanks for sharing.

It is good to see a collection not completely dominated by "sports models".
The blue dial Citizen (which will look even finer on your custom strap), the automatic Seiko, and (of course) the Certina are the pick of the bunch for me.

Also -- well photographed, Sir ;-)
Audemars Piguet, Benzinger, Dornblüth, Glashütte Original (x3), Meistersinger, Moritz Grossmann (x3), Moser, Nomos, Rolex, Stowa, Zenith.
