Corum won't have a chance to collect a dime after Swatch bankrupts SO. I seriously have no empathy for people that steal others hard work, take it to China and knock it off.

Place the Fuck SO sign here

The example I just posted show how much Lalo is a genius. While other "small" watch companies like Swatch go to the trouble of imitating a Coke can the mighty IWG finds an easier solution. In a rare interview Lalo cited this as an example of how "craftsmanship is built into the watch" a phrase repeated on home shopping shows. "They called me to say we should do a soda can watch and the dials would run around 80 cents a piece for the material. I told them to go around and steal peoples blue recycling bins, pull out the cans and cut them the fuck up". Lalo went on to say that we should expect the new Campbell soup version of the DNA "Art" shortly with a very limited edition "Alpo" Puppy DNA for Christmas

Well, ain't that shameless coming from a guy some folks give a bit of latitude to. What gripes me the most about these "watch designers" is they sit ass cheek to ass cheek with Tim Simple at the ShopNBC presentation table and gloat while taking full credit for their phenomenal "design work".

Enjoyed it, don't have any pictures to post, but liked all yours.

They are what they are. The real, the fake the look-alikes.

I've a couple homages, I like them and they have swiss movements in them....as one said earlier...they are much better to wear in a high risk environment...you know better to give them the watch rather than have to explain to someone why you shot them...

This one seems like a reach to me, other than vaguely resembling the shape. They both have bridge movements, but the movement is the movement, right?
Edit: I wanted to add that I like the looks of that Corum. Is that a good watch?

Thanks for the news flash.

Yeah..you read it "somewhere". "Somewhere" that most likely got it here.

Conjurer, he's new and needs to get caught up

As for SO, never trust a man with a bouffant hairdo selling crappy watches on a TV Shopping show.

Note: SO and bouffant hairdo were thrown in for extra credit, feel free to remove both and the statement is still true

Prague Men's Trinity, because Tourbillon's are kool.
$37 at overstockcom in 2006, marked down from $159 ;)
I always thought it would look like a Franck Muller Revolution if I put a genuine imitation embossed strap on it.
7 Years later in my desk drawer, it still runs…
