The cool thing our original leader did was to give members the capability of commenting on a thread or post, even if it triggers someone negativity.

I do all my battery changes but I wouldnt touch that one. We had a hard time getting the battery changed in my girls Movado. No one locally wanted to do it. Seems like a special tool is needed to get the backs off of those that only works with that brand and type of watch and they hesitate to make the investment. Wound up sending it to a Movado service center that cleaned, polished, serviced (?) and changed the battery for $45 !!! Funny, we had a battery changed in it on an island somewhere in the Caribbean and the guy doing it had no problem removing the back with a machine that looked like an old time orange juice squeezer. Old guy with really bad eyes but had worked on watches all his life I guess. Just had a little booth in a hallway in a mall.
