I wonder if they are talking to a rectal exam?

About the study
This is the sixth annual Deloitte Watch Industry Study. It is based on an online survey and discussions
with watch executives and a consumer survey which was conducted among 4,500 people living in China,
Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland and the US by the data collection provider Research Now. The online
survey with executives was conducted between May and July 2017. More than 60 watch executives
participated.

The only thing to glean there is that more established brands are going to go into partnership with established retail websites to sell their watches, or start their own online portals. The fact that we are talking about this in 2018 only once again proves that the doddering "movers and shakers" of the Swiss watch industry are always 10 years behind the times when figuring out what their customers might actually want or need.
