Seiko - Limited Edition Prospex "Black Series"

Seiko - Limited Edition Prospex "Black Series"

Postby Racer-X » January 11th 2018, 11:29pm

by Paul O'Neil "Seiko unveils a trio of limited editions with a hard black coating to the case. In Seiko’s typically understated style, the trio of Prospex models were discreetly presented over the Christmas break and within days social media was awash with people looking to pre-order these limited editions. The launch was perhaps even too discreet, since there is not even any indication of the size of the limited edition production run on the special microsite dedicated to these three models."

That's the nth time I look at it, and it doesn't look any better than when I looked at it for the first time. Which means, that with a different lume used for the hands than for the hour markers, it looks like a relume job done badly. Seriously, what the bloody hell were the people at Seiko thinking, when they gave their approval for a design feature quite as stupid as that?
