Whatcha wurrin? 11.12.17

Wearing this one more time before it goes along with one other watch to procure a gently used Tag Aquagraph.

I've been away quite awhile, sold/pawned everything. I'm slowly getting back on my feet.
It was weird not owning a single watch.
I found this at a Pawn Shop.
My only watch.
I like it.

Welcome back, OT. Those 2000 series Tags take a beating and last forever. Good choice.

Good to see you around, Mr. F. For an Only Watch, you could certainly do a lot worse.

Taking a step back from the more expensive, dressier pieces, and going with a watch that has, in a relatively short time, become truly iconic, and not because it's modern-looking or "tactical cool," or whatever the latest silly buzzwords for military-style or extreme sports watches are these days. Nope, this watch has become iconic because it works in all kinds of conditions and environs, irrespective of physical challenge, and has done so in a manner so reliably that it has become one of those watches that people typically own three, four or still more of, and usually in just about any color or color mix you can name (though, for today, mine is black with beautiful, bright gold highlights)...

This is the CASIO G-SHOCK, a genuinely legendary watch that kicks serious butt, takes serious names, and comes back ready for more, each and every day. And, at just a few of ounces each -- as compared to the 1+ lb. watch whose name rhymes with dolt goose, two names no one will ever call you if you wear a G-SHOCK -- you can wear it all day and all night, week after week, and even month after month. Try that with your behemoth 'o steel 'Octo-Mom,' or whatever it's called!

Yet, it's so humble that it comes in a simple tin presentation box...which beats the heck outta something that looks like it oughtta be worn on someone's head at Lambeau Field during a Packers Game! Most collectors have at least one G-Shock; do you? If not, you really oughtta give it some thought...trust me!

G-Shocks kick ass!

Good to see you back, OT.

Has been on my wrist for days now. Truly one that could be my only watch and keep me satisfied.
