WURW 6-19-17

Postby TemerityB » June 18th 2017, 9:19pm

Still missing my late father even after Father's Day has come and gone. So for today I picked out one the proud Navy veteran might have liked.

Thanks to SynMike for introducing the brand. Surprisingly well made for the price, clasp and bracelet are quite excellent. Bezel has a little too much wiggle and the lume fades quickly. Over two days has been within 30 seconds as it sat on my desk. Hacking automatic movement. Solid end links. Adjustable bracelet length on the fly.

Better quality than a prior Parnis purchase. Way better bracelet than a recent Alpha purchase.

Quite happy for $80. Thank you, China.

+10 seconds in 24 hours. Not too shabby.

I've been eyeballing that Citizen for awhile if I may ask a couple questions is it smaller then it looks?
and is it a true monocoque case?

Yes - that photo makes the watch look huge, but it's actually smallish (it's 43mm but I think it wears smaller); I need to take a better photo. It's rock solid; got this in a trade, which is something I usually don't do. It's the diver I was looking for, for months, beating out an array of Seikos and such. Best of luck finding one; this is the model that the BN0150-28E replaced.
