Apart from the three-o'clock crown and elephantine size, it looks remarkably similar to the Turtle.

And with an additional $100+ premium. Thought homages were supposed to be less expensive than the original?

Why not? is a popular case configuration....he's not the only one "borrowing" these days and in general Deep Blue watches are pretty solid...

Interestingly, Stain Betosh is saying he's using Selitta SW200s in these, which are not cheap movements; while I'm not a fan of Stain, he's generally on the up and up with his movements.

He just recently did a copy of the SKX007 too. Apparently Stan has completely run out of original ideas, and decency, and is now fully into copy-watches.

Deep Blue gets even worse as a brand...who'da thought he would join the Invicta and Sturdling Original crowd.

When Stan had access to Swiss movements and T-100 tubes, he made good micro brand watches. His star $$ has really fallen. Today he doesn't even hide his copy cat status to make a few $$$. So Sad

Point of order:

There is no such thing as a T-100 tube on a watch.

Watch Country of Origin: Final assembly changed to China, effective 8-9-2016

Everyone should own one watch with a perpetual calendar, even if it's inexpensive. Seriously. It's just plain fun.
