All I can say is this forum really really sucks. A bunch of egotistical assholes running around waving their dicks like they all have the biggest one.

Jeezus

Oh did I mention that I damn happy to be here! Image

Happy Birthday Watchlords, and congrats to the founders and Koimaster.

Most of the time I've enjoyed being a member here. There is a lot of watch knowledge, and a lot of humor. That's a great combination.

One can speak their mind even if it involves barking negative criticism directed at the founder. To me, that means a lot.

WatchLords helps reduce the feelings of getting old when the maturity level is at the 7th grade level. ;-)

I would never call WatchLords a cesspool, but I have called it a latrine. But, I've been called a shitbird, which only seems appropriate.

To commemorate, I was going to wear only Swiss Invictas with Chinese movements today, but instead, I'll do something more classy. I'm going to dedicate tonight's live electronic music performance (Chez Mosc) that streams at 6 PM EST on http://radio.electro-music.com to Watchlords. The performance will include a few horological sounds, and some selected readings from some of the more insightful posts I have read here.

Watch collecting is a disastrous trap and I'm stuck. At least I always know what time it is.

I realize I'm a bit late chiming in here, but without even having to look it up I can think of ONE DOZEN instances of faulty products sold by you-know-who that this very website was instrumental in bringing to the fore. Just the facts, and that's very, very cool. Without this place, even in the dimmest, most drool-mouthed WGs never would have known shit from Shinola. They called us "haters" here, but who hates consumers more than the companies that lie to them and rip them off? WL doesn't sell anything. No sponsors. Just people who are into watches talking about everything from Rolex to the cheap junk they sell on TV.

"Haters." Right. Most of the WG/IA mokes who used that term (including a few who "joined" here before screaming in indignation) just run from us on their own websites now. I'm very glad they can enjoy their Ocean Ghosts and "Reserve Swiss" toys in the privacy of their own house trailers. Long may they make returns.

I realize I joined here early on, and I will tell you what: This is EASILY the satisfying and entertaining watch website in existence. Unfiltered and fun, you know, the way it's supposed to be (an actual CSN reference).

Thanks to all the founders here for letting me join the party - and especially to koi, who I sincerely know will gain the pound of flesh he is so deservedly entitled to.

To Alain and the founders a big thanks. I might have been late to party but it's been a ride since I got here.
